Chocolate Understands!

I really do think sometimes Chocolate Understands how I feel and maybe Sonia understand too, because the Lovely Sonia made this card.  You think she was thinking of me or it was just one of those days when she made it!

Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate!

Last week you got a chance to look at cards from my Close to My Heart Girlfriends, and I am proud to say they are my girlfriends even when they do not have their Consultants hats on.  This week we will look at card using the August Stamp of the Month.  I do this so you can see how versatile the Stamp of the Month or SOTM as we call it at Close to My Heart.  The SOTM should not sit in your collection, you should use it to put a smile on the faces of the people you love and care about.  This first cared is from Patty.  Patty uses three of the stamps in the SOTM.

Warm Wishes this Holiday Season

Last but not least this beautiful card from Patty.  I just love how she took the time to cut out the deer and tree and popped them out.  Very creative with the cool washi tape from the Christmas book on it.  Awesome job Patty.

A Christmas Ornament

Hello Everyone,

Today, I have an ornament to show you that was apart of my monthly swap.  I really like it, cause it is simple and you can have your Cricut do all the work.  All you do is stamp, add adhesive and Glitz to it. You also don't need a lot of card stock either.  How cool is that!  This would also make a neat addition to your Christmas presents in addition or without the bow.  Enjoy!

LOVE

The name of this card fits perfectly.  I love the look of anything vintage, so imagine my surprise when I saw this card in the mail with the rest of my swaps.  Judy is her name Beauty is her game!  I love how she used the Frosted paper pack.

PEACE

This week I will be showing you the work of my friends that are also Close to My Heart Consultants.  They are very talented and I enjoy sharing and swapping with them in our monthly card swap.  The first card is from Sonia and it is called Peace.  I just love silver as it is one of the two colors I decorate my house in every Christmas.  Take a look.  I'm sure you will enjoy this beautiful card just as I do.

Ghoul Parents Birthday Card

October is a beautiful month.  It is the time of year for warm harvest colors, which are rich and comforting.  The browns, yellows and oranges are beautiful colors to me.  Here is a card that I made for my granddaughter for her birthday.  She is a beautiful girl inside and out and I am very proud she is my granddaughter.

Chantilly Page Layout

The Chantilly paper pack is a beautiful paper pack and the pictures on the web or in the idea book does not do it justice.  You need to see this paper up close and feel it in your hot little hands.  I love the bright colors in this paper packet.  I added a piece of Pacific X5759 and White Daisy 1385 cardstock to this layout.  I also did not use the traditional complements to this layout, but I did use other CTMH embellishments to this layout.

Base & Bling Teal Jewels Z1891 $5.95
Green & Blue Epoxy Bubbles Z1806 $3.95

Happy Halloween Page Layout

Here is a 2 page layout that I made using the new Artbooking Cartridge from Close to My Heart.  This is a Creative Cropping Divas Meetup Group Project and we had so much fun making this project.  Who knew making this page while munching on a Red Velvet cupcake could be this fun!  Red Velvet cupcakes is a favorite among the girls that crop at my house once a month.  I hope you enjoy making this layout as much as we did.
